I noticed a young magpie was lying down, on BruceCam - and wondered what was up.

The adults approached it, and one was aggressive

 

The youngster was submissive and was left lying on its back.  🙄 

Once the two adults had left, the youngster struggled to right itself and get onto its feet - it seemed to be OK.

Red Wattlebirds on KimCam.  The bird with distinct red wattles is an adult, the one with less distinct wattles is most like immature.
