It was lovely to see this Galah pair late in the afternoon

A pair of galahs have been visiting Kimcam regularly.
They were foraging on the ground a couple of days ago
... then a Lorikeet arrived and they flew off!
Today they were happily feasting on the feeder. Their different eye colours indicate they are male and female.
We saw a new bird on Kim's cam today - a Pacific Koel - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific_koel
It was large enough to send the magpie off the feeder when it flew in!

Late evening galah visit
Kim's new backyard site has proved very popular. With the high temperatures and ongoing drought, the birdbath has been very popular.
The little blackbirds were seen happily splashing in it the other day when things started to warm up!
Then, a surprising visitor decided to get his paws wet!

Even when the Corellas appeared, things remained peaceful.
