Al's 'nemesis' brought a friend to the feeder today, after spotting Al leave! 🙄
We saw a handsome male Satin Bowerbird at Al's feeder today - if it is Mr Stick he is showing no signs of any trauma!
It rained today, and quite a few birds visited Al's feeder.
A male Satin Bowerbird arrived ~
It wasn't long before it was joined by a juvenile Bowerbird ~
The juvenile looks as though it could be male, moulting into adult plumage ~
Later a bedraggled, wet Lorikeet was feeding while two brave Red-browed Finches remained by the feeder. It was nice to see the budgies lined up in the aviary, looking on ~
Then, later, Mr Cockie came by, but needed to shelter while he fed, so he managed to squeeze into the feeder ~
He was soon sent on his way by the Lorikeets - a bedraggled (wet) pair arrived, and Mr. Cockie left. The youngster Lorie stayed for a while ~
A Possum was seen on cam during the night; looked like he came for a midnight snack!

Here's ABC's video of the possum visit:

At the end of that video the possum climbs up to the nest box where Al posted a picture of a young possum that was "nested" in there a few years ago (see top of this page).
Al made a video of the view into that nesting box at the time:

Maybe the possum we saw yesterday is the same one! 😊
Last night the visitor was a bit smaller - but it too enjoyed the apple remnants!
